For me I often chase clouds patterns and pray for rain. It gives a landscape a certain level of intensity that just can’t be achieved with a lot of sunlight. But in the PNW, you don’t have to look far. I spent 12 days traveling from southern Oregon up to Seattle, hitting everything in between and realizing why its considered the ultimate alpine moody paradise. With lush groves and roaring waterfalls, to cascading canyons and serene lakes, to the epic coastline sea stacks, this place has to be my favorite local road-trip location of all.
